Advanced Search

Use the Advanced Search feature of the Customer Information Manager to:

Even when you do not specify any shipping or payment profile data as part of your search criteria, you need to always specify whether to return shipping profile information only, payment profile information only, or both payment and shipping profile information.

To run an advanced profile search

  1. If you know the customer profile ID, customer ID, or all or part of the e-mail address, enter it here.

  2. Select a profile type to search:

  3. Depending on the option you selected in step 2, you can specify additional criteria:

    Profile Type Search Criteria
    Search Customer and Payment Profiles Enter any combination of: the entire payment profile ID, all or part of the customer's first or last name, or credit card or bank account information
    Search Customer and Shipping Profiles Enter any combination of: the entire payment profile ID, or all or part of the customer's first or last name
    Search All Profiles Enter all or part of the customer's first or last name
  4. Click Search to search for matching profiles, or Reset to clear all the fields.

Customer profile records that match your search criteria are always returned, even if the customer profile has no associated shipping or payment profiles.

If you only enter shipping or payment profile data as your search criteria, without entering any customer profile data, then the search returns matching records only for the profile type that you have specified.

You can control how many results to display per page; the default is 25. Your other choices are: 10, 50, 100, and 500 results per page.
