Delete a Profile

You can delete a customer profile directly from the Customer Information Manager page.

To delete a customer profile

  1. Select a profile from the customer list.

  2. Click Delete.

  3. A window opens, warning that you are about to delete a profile, and asks you to confirm the deletion. Click OK to delete the profile, or Cancel to return to the profile list.

You can also delete payment or shipping profiles for a customer.

To delete a payment profile or a shipping profile

  1. Select a profile from the customer list.

  2. Click Edit Profile. The Customer Profile page opens.

  3. Click (Delete) next to the payment or shipping profile that you want to delete. A confirmation screen opens, asking you to verify whether or not you want to delete the profile.

  4. Click OK to delete the profile, or Cancel to return to the Customer Profile page and leave the record unchanged.

Note that you will not be able to process payments against a profile until you have a payment profile for that customer, with all of the payment method fields completed.

 

You cannot delete a profile that is associated with a recurring subscription.
